Living Intentionally

In the last month or so, I've received a challenging assignment for Family Life Radio: create a community for women who would like to live intentionally for Christ. The President of the radio network, Dr. Randy Carlson, hosts a live call-in show, Intentional Living. But there has been no focus just for women.

We started with 60-second radio features that give a tip or encouragement for women. Then we added a blog with articles and interviews. Now we have a Facebook page and videos. Starting next Thursday, and continuing every Thursday at noon Pacific/3 pm Eastern, on www.Facebook.com/FamilyLifeRadio, we will have a live discussion on issues important to women.

I hope you will be able to be part of this community in some way... and be blessed by it. Here are some ideas for getting involved:

1. If you are on Facebook, search for "Lorri Allen for the Intentional Woman" and "like" the page.

2. Go to www.MyFLR.org and click on "Talk to Us." When a menu drops down, choose "The Intentional Woman Blog." Watch the videos or read the articles and interviews and comment!

3. Listen to Family Life Radio if it airs in your city. If not, try listening online at www.MyFLR.org.

4. If you have an idea for a topic you would like addressed on Thursdays or in an article, leave a comment here, on the website or on Facebook! I'd love to hear from you.
